Campbell denies slapping maid

Naomi Campbell has denied claims by her maid that the supermodel slapped her around the face.

Millicent Burton says Naomi slapped her and then threw her purse out the door of her Manhatten apartment - but Naomi's lawyer says: "Miss Campbell vigorously disputes the version of these events that is being presented by Miss Burton."

A New York Police Department spokesman confirmed officers attended the apartment and talked to both women but no charges would be brought.

The model is in New York attending acting classes.
