Ocean Colour Scene to play Dublin
Ocean Colour Scene have announced a gig at Dublin's Ambassador theatre on September 13.
The band played a headline performance on The Green Room Stage at Oxegen.
This will be Ocean Colour Scene's first indoor show here since they played a nine-date sell-out acoustic tour of Ireland for their Irish fans in November of last year.
The Ambassador show coincides with the release of a new live album due for release in late September. The album will consist of tracks recorded at the band's performances at Oxegen, T in the Park, Keighley Victoria Hall, and Guilfest Festival during the summer.
Speaking about their summer festival appearances, they said: "The fans lifted us to new heights. The reception in Ireland and Scotland was unbelievable."
The live album should include at least one of the three new songs previewed at the gigs as a taster for the new studio album due out in January.
Tickets for their Ambassador date are €33 (inc. booking fee) and are on sale now from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.
For telephone bookings, call the 24 Hour Ticketmaster credit card line on 0818 719 300.
Special guests to be announced.
