Bomb scare shuts Furtado out of album launch

Singer Nelly Furtado was locked out of Maxi Priest's new album launch in London this week, after a bomb scare.

Singer Nelly Furtado was locked out of Maxi Priest's new album launch in London this week, after a bomb scare.

Furtado and a number of other guests were refused entry to the bash to promote Priest's new LP 'Rise to the occasion' at Virgin Records' London headquarters on Tuesday, forcing the singer to perform to a half- empty room.

A source explains: "It was a nightmare. Some people were stuck outside, those that were inside weren't allowed out and it looked like becoming a fiasco.

"Then Maxi decided to sing to the few people who'd made it in."
