Fahrenheit 9/11 is banned in Kuwait
Director Michael Moore's film Fahrenheit 9/11 has been banned by American ally Kuwait, because of its controversial representation of the Saudi Arabian royal family.
The state-owned Kuwait National Cinema Co had applied for a license to show the Palme d'Or -winning documentary, but the request was turned down by government censors who believe the movie's representation of America's Iraq invasion is against the law and would incite violence and anger if it was screened in their country.
