Dunst reunites with Coppola for Marie-Antoinette film

Kirtsen Dunst is set to reunite with Sofia Coppola on a film which will look at the life and times of France's most controversial monarch, Queen Marie Antoinette.

The blonde actress is keen to work with the Oscar-winning Lost in Translation filmmaker again, five years after they teamed up for The Virgin Suicides, in a film about the 18th century ruler's wife, who reportedly uttered "Let them eat cake" about the starving masses during the French revolution.

The movie will be based on Antonia Fraser's detailed biography of the Viennese-born archduchess who married into the Bourbon monarchy at the age of 15 - and allegedly enjoyed various affairs until the French revolutionaries locked her up, vilified her and then executed her via the guillotine.
