Hurley gets permission to marry playboy Arun

British beauty Liz Hurley has been given the go ahead to marry Indian boyfriend Arun Nayar after his estranged wife Valentina Pedroni told the actress she is welcome to him.

The Italian model was dumped by businessman Arun after seven years of marriage in December 2002 and admitted that, while she initially felt betrayed, she is now ready to move on.

Pedroni says: "Our divorce petition is still pending in the Italian courts. I have moved on, but of course I am hurt and it's a difficult time for us, me and my family.

"I do want to say that we should all move ahead."

Hurley, 39, met Nayar, 38, through his wife at a party at their chalet in St Moritz, Switzerland, but Pedroni did not learn of the affair until they were pictured at a fashion show last year.

And Pedroni has now thrown herself into work to get over the break up.

She says: "I am happy where I am right now, promoting fashion and working with children's charities."
