Moore set to film Florida voting

Fahrenheit 9/11 film-maker Michael Moore will take his cameras to Florida on the Presidential Election Day (November 2 next) - to ensure voting machines function correctly.

The Oscar-winning documentary maker plans to film the polling process in the Sunshine State, following concerns over the accuracy of touch-screen voting machines during the last election in 2000.

Moore says: "I am committed. I am coming to Florida. Together, we will guarantee to every Floridian that their vote will be counted this year."

US President George W Bush was inaugurated as the country's 43rd leader on January 20, 2001 when the Supreme Court declared him the winner due to a 537-vote advantage over his rival Al Gore, following five weeks of recounts and legal wrangling.
