Paris and Carter love was 'based on distrust'

Pop star Nick Carter has spoken out about his split from girlfriend Paris Hilton, complaining the pair couldn't trust each other.

Speaking to America's People magazine, the Backstreet Boy insists the split was mutual, despite his socialite ex's claims she called the romance off after advice from a psychic.
