Affleck and Sambataro over

Ben Affleck is a single man again - he's split with his sales executive girlfriend Enza Sambataro after two months together.

The Daredevil star met the stunning brunette at a Boston Red Sox baseball game in late May and embarked on his first relationship since splitting from ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez in January.

After the American media noticed Sambataro had not been spotted with the actor while he is in Boston for the Democratic National Convention, Affleck confirmed his brief relationship had ended.

Affleck says: "It's difficult. I meet people, but I feel like I'm this walking nightmare. You get photographed with me once at a baseball game, and The Inquireer will find out every dirty little thing that ever happened in your family's history."

Ironically Affleck blamed "excessive media attention" on the demise of his relationship with Sambataro - the same reason he and Lopez cancelled their planned September 2003 nuptials.

Affleck continues: "It's too much. Who wants that? If I saw me, I would turn the other way. I'm trying to diminish it so that someone might actually be interested in dating me."

In recent weeks Affleck has been romantically linked to his Daredevil co-star Jennifer Garner.
