Church's mum orders her to diet

Teenage soprano Charlotte Church has been ordered to diet by her mum - who is horrified by her daughter's dramatic weight gain.

The Voice of an Angel singer, 18, binged on fast food and cocktails during her recent holiday to the Spanish isle of Ibiza and called off a magazine photo shoot on her return, fearing she was too fat to be pictured - her mother Maria has consequently urged her to go on a diet and detox.

Maria admits: "She had a really good time in Ibiza, but knows she smoked, drank and ate a lot. She's naturally fit and it won't take her long to get back to her best."

A close friend says: "Charlotte had her last burger on Saturday."

Charlotte lost 21 pounds (1.5 stone) last year after separating from her wild lover Steven Johnson,19, and enjoyed wearing sexy outfits to flaunt her slim figure.
