White answers Beck's call

Beck has teamed up with Jack White on a new song to feature on his forthcoming eighth studio album.

The US singer hopes to complete the untitled track with The White Stripes frontman in time for inclusion on the October release - his first since 2002's Sea Change album.

According to Beck's publicist, one of the other new tracks is entitled Guero and is a "dancey, autobiographical account of growing up as the only white kids in an East Los Angeles neighbourhood".
