Jamiroquai star in car accident

Jamiroquai star Jay Kay was involved in a near-fatal accident on Sunday after he was hit by a car.

The Virtual Insanity singer had been enjoying a high-spirited night at the Cartier International Polo event in Windsor, England, when he drunkenly stumbled out in front of a moving vehicle.

A source says: "It was quite a sight. One minute he was wobbling out of the Chinawhite tent and the next a car ploughed into him.

"He's very lucky as the driver was going really slowly, so not much damage was done.

"Jay was a bit shaken up but apart from that there wasn't any broken bones or blood.

"He was helped up afterwards and was able to walk. But it was awful to watch. It looked pretty painful."
