'N Sync reform for national anthem

Pop hunks 'N Sync performed for the first time in 18 months in South Beach, Florida, at the weekend at their annual Challenge For The Children basketball all-star tournament.

The quintet performed the US' national anthem before the event but refused to confirm or deny rumours they were getting back together.

Justin Timberlake told reporters the group hadn't discussed their future arrangements prior to the performance, but planned to stage a summit meeting yesterday.

The charity event was also a chance for the celebrity couples to come together and appear in public for the first time. Among the non-'N Sync stars at the event were Timberlake's girlfriend Cameron Diaz and new Hollywood couple Wilmer Valderrama and Lindsay Lohan.
