Hasselhoff's attorney asks for delay in drink-driving case
Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff's day in court on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol was pushed back today.
The 51-year-old actor and singer was supposed to be arraigned in Van Nuys, California, today on a misdemeanour drunken driving charge, but his lawyer requested the case be continued - it has consequently been postponed until 28 October.
Hasselhoff was arrested on 5 June but he is free on a $15,000 (€12,500) bail.
