Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff's day in court on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol was pushed back today.

Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff's day in court on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol was pushed back today.

The 51-year-old actor and singer was supposed to be arraigned in Van Nuys, California, today on a misdemeanour drunken driving charge, but his lawyer requested the case be continued - it has consequently been postponed until 28 October.

Hasselhoff was arrested on 5 June but he is free on a $15,000 (€12,500) bail.
