Zeta-Jones doubles home's value - before moving in

Hollywood stunner Catherine Zeta-Jones has doubled the value of her lavish new home to $4m (€3.3m) - and she hasn't even moved in yet.

The Chicago Oscar winner, 34, and her actor husband Michael Douglas have made a profit of $2m (€1.6m) on the property - which took more than two years to build - in her home city Swansea, Wales.

Welsh estate agent Alison Morris says the suburb's house prices have soared by 90% because of the glamorous pair. She said: "Money goes to money and that is certainly true in this case. We have never had a £2m house come on the market anywhere in Swansea.

"It could sell easily to a specialist buyer simply because of who Catherine is and its fabulous location. We are all so pleased she hasn't forgotten her roots and has built it right here."
