Newspaper stands by Timberlake 'unfaithful' report

The British newspaper who claimed Justin Timberlake cheated on his actress girlfriend Cameron Diaz with an English glamour model are standing by their story.

The singer is suing Sunday tabloid News of the World for libel after they published an interview with brunette beauty Lucy Clarkson, who claimed she had sex with the pop star on two occasions.

Timberlake's lawyers have demanded the paper retract the story, but according to the publication's spokeswoman, the News Of The World are continuing to insist the report is based on fact.

The spokeswoman says: "We will vigorously defend these proceedings in court."
