Courtney Love surrenders to police

Rocker Courtney Love surrendered to Los Angelese police yesterday on an assault charge stemming from an April disturbance at the home of her former boyfriend and manager.

A warrant was issued for Love’s arrest earlier this month after she failed to appear in court on the assault charge. At the time, her attorney, Michael Rosenstein, said she was in a New York hospital.
