Schiffer wins privacy battle
Supermodel Claudia Schiffer has successfully stopped the German publication of pictures of her and her son Caspar, after they were involved in a road accident in London last year.
Various media outlets in the 33-year-old's native country sought to use the snaps, taken shortly after the accident - which both Schiffer and Caspar emerged unharmed.
But the catwalk queen's lawyer Matthias Prinz has successfully argued in a Hamburg court, 17-month-old Caspar - Schiffer's son with British movie producer Matthew Vaughn - should be protected from the public eye.
Any publication that defies the ruling risks a maximum fine of €253,300.
