Big Brother 'wedding' ends in tears and rage
The Big Brother "wedding" ended in tears when married couple Shell and Victor had a furious bust-up which resulted in Shell threatening to leave the house.
The normally shy and retiring blonde aimed a spring of expletives at the Londoner after she complained of his behaviour during the day.
When she was called by Big Brother to take part in the coupleâs first dance, she stormed into the living room and called her betrothed a âc***â.
Just before her outburst she told housemates Nadia and Michelle in the bedroom that Victor had been rude throughout the climax of this weekâs task.
Shell told how Victor had rebuffed her offer to refill his champagne glass - but seconds later accepted a top up from Jason.
âItâs just so childish,â she said, puzzled by Victorâs attitude towards her.
âThatâs just why I was caning [the champagne] back, because I know Iâm going to get humiliated again when we have to do this bloody dance.
âWhat have I done to deserve that?â she wept, pointing in the direction of the garden and Victor.
When Big Brotherâs voice boomed: âPlease welcome the bride and groomâ, signalling the start of the first dance, only Victor was in place as the strains of Eric Claptonâs âWonderful Tonightâ began playing.
Victor exploded: âThis is ridiculous. And sheâs in there crying. For what reason?â
He remarked that Shellâs non-attendance on the dance floor could jeopardise the task.
She then stormed into the living room and called Victor a âc***â.
âWhat have I said to you?â yelled a stunned Victor.
Refusing to dance with him, Shell continued to swear at her groom as the song played on.
âGet the f*** out of here!â she shouted at Victor as the music died away. âGet out of here. Get the f*** out of hereâŠâ
Shell then ran to the bedroom, where she told Nadia and Michelle that she wanted to leave the house.
She changed her mind when she poured her heart out in the Big Brother diary room.
The unhappy couple later made up with a one-to-one on the deck.
Shell said she was bewildered at his attitude towards her as the pair had always got on. And she argued that he had given her the cold shoulder throughout the past two days.
She explained that she had been upset that he walked off during her pole-dancing performance.
Victor replied that he had been been distracted by Jason kicking a football around and wanted to join in.
âIâm a guy. I like football,â he explained simply as he apologised to her.
âYou was irritating during the task,â Victor admitted, and said he felt she had suggested that he wanted to sleep with her.
He added that he thought Shell was âout of orderâ for swearing at him and told her never to call him a âc***â again.
After a long and calm discussion, the pair embraced and apologised to each other.
Earlier, the day had not got off to a good start â with Victor overhearing Dan telling his bride to ignore him if he became irritated because they lost the task.
Victor asked: âDan, did you just tell Shell to ignore me?â
âNo,â said Dan. âI told her to ignore the ruckus if it kicks off.â
Shell got annoyed with Victor during the wedding rehearsal when he made his escape from his âbrideâ as soon as possible.
âI noticed he didnât look at you. I felt s*** for you,â said Michelle.
Geordie Michelle sulked all afternoon at the prospect of playing the relatively lowly role of chorister during the big day.
Things got worse for the 23-year-old when Big Brother ordered her to wear a frumpy choristerâs outfit instead of the dress she spent hours putting together.
And she became really incensed when transsexual bridesmaid Nadia caught blonde Shellâs bouquet at the end of her wedding ceremony.
She tried to rugby tackle Nadia for the bouquet, but the Portuguese-born maid of honour emerged victorious, crowing: âIâm going to be a bride.â
The brunette berated âchickenâ Stuart after the wedding for not helping his her achieve her dream of being bride.
With a face like thunder, she moaned: âI would have loved to have been the bride or the bridesmaid.
âI would have loved to have caught the bouquet. That was some serious passion there when I was trying to get that.â
