Clooney contemplates legal action
Superstar actor George Clooney has waged war on American newspaper USA Today after they published the exact address of his 18th century mansion on Lake Como in Italy.
Clooney was outraged after the daily published an article featuring locals from the small town of Laglio discussing Clooney's palatial home and the presence of his Ocean's Twelve co-stars Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts in the lakeside area.
A friend of Clooney's told Britain's Star magazine: "He will never give another interview. He is also considering legal action."
The trouble started when the paper wrote an article on July 12 detailing the furore that the filming of Ocean's Twelve was causing in Europe - drawing particular attention to the gate of Clooney's 25 bedroom getaway.
