Dunst and Gyllenhaal split

Kirsten Dunst and Jake Gyllenhaal, the young stars of two of Hollywood’s big summer movies, have ended their romance.

Dunst, the co-star of Spider-Man 2, and Gyllenhaal, who appears in the disaster epic, The Day After Tomorrow, have gone their separate ways, his publicist said yesterday.
