Jackson denies he is to father quadruplets

Pop star Michael Jackson today denied a magazine report that he is to father quadruplets.

Us Weekly reported that a besotted American actress agreed to be artificially inseminated in Florida.

But a statement on Jackson’s official website, MJJsource.com said: “Us Weekly magazine reported on Tuesday, July 20, 2004, that Michael Jackson is about to become a father of quadruplets. MJJsource denies the validity of this report.

It added: “There will be no further comments on this matter from MJJsource.”

The magazine reported that Jackson, who is currently battling child sex abuse allegations, stayed in a €3,700-per-night hotel in Miami Beach during the visit.

A spokesman for Us Weekly said the magazine was sticking by its story.

Jackson, 45, is said to have asked the mystery woman to carry his children in a series of letters, after she had firstly written to him to express her support for his upcoming trial on child molestation charges.

The actress became pregnant in May, long after Jackson was arrested and charged by Californian officials, and is thought to be a mother-of-three from Florida.

It is believed she has signed a privacy document with Jackson's lawyers, to guarantee her silence.

An insider tells British newspaper The Sun: "She had all sorts of medications to prepare her, and by early May she became pregnant."

And an American journalist tells the publication: "This is coming from inside sources, very inside the Jackson camp.

"We're not revealing any details about the mother. As with many things in the Michael Jackson camp, it is a big mystery.

"She is down in Florida. Michael was just down in Florida spending a lot of time down there.

"Michael Jackson's camp are not denying it - they are just saying they do not comment on personal matters like this. The Jackson camp is very good at keeping secrets.

"Whether he is innocent or guilty, this is not the time to bring a surrogate mother for quadruplets.

"It's just adding more bizarre twists in the story - it just keeps getting weirder and weirder."

Jackson already has three young children, Prince Michael and daughter Paris by former wife, Debbie Rowe, and Prince Michael II, whose mother is not publicly known.

The mother of Prince Michael II was a surrogate, the pop star has previously revealed.

Jackson is currently on €2.4m bail pending trial over allegations that he sexually molested a teenage cancer patient at the Neverland ranch in California.

Jackson has denied the accusations, calling them a “big lie”.

He pleaded not guilty to committing a lewd act upon a child, administering an intoxicating agent – alcohol – and conspiring to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.

His trial is due to start in September.
