The Simpsons tackles TV indecency

Janet Jackson's Super Bowl breast flash in February has now prompted hit cartoon The Simpsons to weigh in on America's broadcast decency debate.

Simpsons bosses have enlisted figure skater Michelle Kwan and basketball stars LeBron Kames and Yao Ming as guest voices in a lampoon of the ongoing debate.

In the episode, which is scheduled to air after the Super Bowl in February, character Homer Simpson and his neighbour Ned Flanders choreograph the Super Bowl half-time show, which is then panned for being too decent.

Jackson sparked furore and stricter broadcasting rules after she flashed one of her breasts at the end of a duet with Justin Timberlake at the American football final earlier this year.
