Auf Widersehen, Pet star Roach dies

Auf Wiedersehen, Pet star Pat Roach died today after losing a long battle against cancer, a family spokeswoman said.

The actor, best known for his role as gentle giant Bomber in the hit TV series, died during the early hours, biographer and family friend Shirley Thompson said.
