Fahrenheit 9/11 hits South Korea

Director Michael Moore's controversial film Fahrenheit 9/11 is to be used to sway votes in South Korea after its success influencing the American electorate against President George W Bush.

South Korea recently announced its plans to send additional troops to Iraq, a decision the Democratic Liberal Party (DLP) argues is based on "slipshod intelligence".

The DLP will consequently host a special screening of the movie next week, hoping it will heat up the Korean anti-war movement.

DLP spokesman Kim Sung-Hee explains: "By showing the movie that proves the absurdity of Iraq war provoked by Washington, we want to accelerate the anti- dispatch movement in the country through cultural means."
