Osmond's baby trauma

Marie Osmond feared she'd lost her baby when the tot turned blue and stopped breathing in front of her.

The mother-of-eight panicked when she discovered her baby daughter lifeless on the floor of her nursery, and thought the tot had died.

She reveals exclusively to American news show Entertainment Tonight: "She wasn't breathing. It was horrifying. We didn't know what was happening, and I just watched this blue come over my baby.

"I freaked out, grabbed my husband, and mouth to mouth, all the things that I knew. And I truly believe that she had died, that it was done."

The baby had a seizure and paramedics, who were called to the family home, were able to resuscitate her successfully.

Marie adds: "You don't learn from the great things. You learn from the tough stuff. That makes you who you are, and you can choose to bare yourself and go away or you can choose to hit it, you know, face on and learn."
