Penn family honoured

Sean Penn and his famous family are to be honoured as a group by the American Film (AFI) in October.

The Penn clan will be hailed for its achievements in film and will be given the AFI's Platinum Circle Award.

Among those who will attend the luncheon are Sean, and brothers Chris and Michael.

There will also be a special tribute to the late family patriarch Leo Penn, who appeared in cult series like Lost in Space and Starsky & Hutch.
