Rockers Steppenwolf have blocked socialite-turned-reality TV star Paris Hilton's plans to record their classic Born To Be Wild.

The group's singer John Kay reveals the hotel heiress asked him personally for his blessing to let her record the 1960s biker anthem - but he refused.
