Estefan announces upcoming tour as last

Latin pop sensation Gloria Estefan has devastated her adoring fans around the world, by announcing her next tour will be her last.

The singer begins a 27-date American trek next month - her first in eight years - and while she promises a spectacular show, the 46-year-old entertainer declares it will be her last.

She says: "I'm not retiring, or anything of that nature. I'm definitely gonna be doing everything I've been doing. For the past eight years, I haven't toured.

"I think touring is probably one of the least things that artists do. We do promotion, we do writing and everything, but I just wanted my fans to know because the worst thing I could do is go out on tour and say: 'By the way, that was it. See ya!'

"I just want them to know that as far as tours go, and travelling the world - which is hard on you - this is gonna be it for me. But I'll still be recording."
