Big Brother does a Glastonbury
The Big Brother housemates will be forced to use a chemical toilet as part of a new task in homage to the Glastonbury festival.
They awoke today to find a mini Stonehenge, a camping stove and portaloo had arrived on the grass.
The house shower and toilet have been put off-limits to create an authentic festival atmosphere.
And cooking facilities are now limited to the camping stove and barbecue because Big Brother has disabled the hob and cooker and removed the kettle and toaster.
Meanwhile, tea and coffee supplies have been replaced with herbal tea.
The housematesâ reactions to the new set-up ranged from scorn to outrage.
Dan was most aggrieved by the arrangement, saying: âIâm not using that toilet. I shall be leaving. Itâs outrageous.â
Victorâs response to the chemical loo was: âTres degrading.â
âWhat is Glaston-fields anyway?â he asked. Dan soon put him straight, as Victor remembered: âOh yeah, there are bands and you donât wash,â
The housemates were today transformed into a costume-clad rock band as part of their Glastonbury-themed task.
Earlier, the newest addition to the Big Brother house revealed that she knew about Nadiaâs past.
Moroccan-born bi-sexual singer Becki Seddiki, 33, told Portuguese-born Nadia she would not give away the 27-year-oldâs secret.
In a candid early morning chat, Becki said: âI know your secret,â adding: âI wonât tell anyone, and I respect and admire you.â
Becki told Nadia her sex change was âamazing and it takes courage,â adding: âYouâre 100% woman to me.â
âNo matter how angry we get, itâs never something Iâll use against you,â she continued, ââcos I think itâs amazing and it takes courage.â
Nadia responded: âItâs just a little bit of my past. I donât wanna make an issue of it.â
Beckiâs arrival in the Big Brother house yesterday came after the departure of three female contestants â Kitten, Emma and Vanessa â in the first four weeks of the show.
Feisty Kitten was the first to be booted out for breaking Big Brother rules three times, while loudmouth Emma was forced to leave after her alcohol-fuelled bust-up with Victor.
On Friday, South African blonde Vanessa became the first housemate to be evicted by public vote.
Becki, who works as a trainee florist and lives in north London, initially told the group she had been a Big Brother contestant in Italy, but soon confessed she was bluffing and was actually English.
The nominees for this Fridayâs eviction will be made public tomorrow night.
