Britney to get married again

Britney Spears' publicist has confirmed the superstar is set to marry her dancer boyfriend Kevin Federline, just months after divorcing school pal Jason Alexander.

The singer's personal publicist and record label Jive have both stated that Spears is engaged to Federline after dating him for two months.

Publicist Nicole King said: "I can confirm that Britney is engaged to Kevin."

Spears has spent the past two weeks recovering from surgery to repair a knee injury and is being assisted by Federline, who has moved in with her.

The injury forced Spears to call off her Onyx Hotel tour - and will stop her from performing for several months.

In January Spears caused shockwaves when she unexpectedly married Alexander in a ceremony in Las Vegas - only to annul the union 55 hours later.
