Redford suffers for his art

Veteran actor Robert Redford suffered for his latest film The Clearing - because his claustrophobia played havoc in scenes where he was bound, gagged and dumped in the boot of a car.

In the movie, Redford was forced to undergo brutal abduction scenes, when his character is kidnapped by a childhood friend, played by Willem Dafoe.
