Ozzy to play zombie, Depp to play Ozzy?

He has played a pirate, a drug dealer, a gypsy and Jack the Ripper, so who better to play addled Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne than Johnny Depp?

The Pirates of the Caribbean hunk is Ozzy and wife Sharon’s first choice to star in a film based on the famed bat-head biter’s colourful life.

Although Depp’s fans would argue that Depp is infinitely too handsome to play Ozzy, he is said to be intrigued at the prospect.

“We’re talking to Johnny, but it’s not 100%,” said The Osbournes patriarch. Meanwhile, Ozzy himself is being considered for the part of a zombie in a film about a rock band coming back from the dead.
