Mummy-based ride to thrill at Universal

Designers of Revenge Of The Mummy – The Ride, the new thrill ride opening this week at Universal Studios in Hollywood, travelled to London’s British Museum to check for authenticity of the scary attraction based on the popular Mummy films.

The ride opens on Friday to mark the 40th anniversary of the studio tour-turned-theme park. It promises “two-and-a-half of the scariest minutes ever experienced in an indoor roller coaster thrill-ride.”

If you have a phobia, you’ll probably find it here. The ride preys on fears of the dark, insects, speed, heights, evil spirits and death. So be warned.
