Stars expected at Charles memorial service

A star-studded memorial service is being held in Los Angeles on Friday for soul legend Ray Charles.

Charles died last week from liver disease.

Among the star’s friends expected at the service are Clint Eastwood, Stevie Wonder, Glen Campbell, Billy Preston, Willie Nelson and BB King.

A public service was being held the day before the invitation-only memorial at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church and a closed casket viewing was planned for Thursday evening.
