Minnie Driver to make a country album

Oscar-nominated English actress Minnie Driver has signed up to make a country music album in the US.

Everything I’ve Got in My Pocket will be released in September said Rounder Records in New York

The album is described as “sparse, atmospheric pop and a hint of contemporary folk.”

London born Driver was nominated for a best-supporting actress Oscar for 1997’s Good Will Hunting.

Her latest film , The Phantom of the Opera, is scheduled for release in December.
