Croc hunter in trouble after 'frollicking' with whales

Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin is in trouble again, after he allegedly got too close to penguins and whales while filming a TV show.

Australian authorities have requested an urgent copy of Irwin's new documentary Ice Breaker after he said he had "frolicked" with the animals while making the film.

Interacting with Antarctic wildlife is strictly forbidden under Australian law, carrying a penalty of two years in jail and a £600,000 (€902,000) fine.

Earlier this year the enthusiastic wildlife celebrity was criticised after he held his baby son a few feet away from the mouth of a crocodile at his Queensland zoo, saying: "He's a month old so it's about time Bob got out there and did his first croc demo".
