Hepburn auction fetches whopping €4.5m

An auction selling off possessions that belonged to screen legend Katherine Hepburn has made an incredible €4.5m.

Sale items included clothes, paintings, furniture and photographs and a small bust of Hepburn’s longtime love Spencer Tracy, which sold for almost €301,000, far in excess of the estimated €3,700.
