Nesbitt scores movie goal

Soccer mad Coleraine actor, Jimmy Nesbitt, has got himself a dream signing … he's one of the stars of the £30m (€45m) film, Goal!

Nesbitt famously 'hijacked' last year's Irish Cup final - won by his home-town team - and in Goal! He plays a football agent who discovers a brilliant young Mexican and brings him to play for Premiership Newcastle United. The film is the first of three planned to look in depth at the state of the beautiful game.
