Evicted Big Brother housemate in court

Former Big Brother rebel Kitten arrived at court today for failing to pay a £200 (€300) speeding fine.

Kitten, real name Kathryn Pinder, refrained from showing her trademark V sign to photographers waiting outside Brighton Magistrates’ Court.

Instead, the 24-year-old, of Grand Parade, Brighton, drew attention to her T-shirt which showed a broken Nike-style tick and the words “No Sweat”.

Kitten was summonsed for the non-payment of the speeding fine.

The lesbian animal rights activist was booted out of the Big Brother house on Friday night for breaking house rules.

She daubed slogans on the walls of the diary room, prompting the Channel 4 show’s organisers to threaten to evict another contestant.

In the end it was the controversial Kitten who was thrown out.

She at first refused to leave, but agreed to go when Big Brother said £1,000 (€1500) would be knocked off the prize money for every minute she stayed.
