Emma B bids to relaunch career

Glamour model Emma B relied on her beauty today as she made a bid to re-launch her career.

The blonde, clad in denim shorts and the skimpiet of cut-off T-shirts, looked happy to be back in the glare of the cameras.

Having spent the last year out of the limelight, partly in America, she is now desperate to break back into television.

Emma will soon appear as a participant in Sky One’s Celebrity Fear Factor and intends to carry on modelling.

Today she posed at Liverpool Street station in central London for the launch of FameIndex – a celebrity stock exchange where members of the public can bet on the future success of their favourite stars.

Players pay for virtual “fame money” with which they back the celebrity they feel will feature most in the press over the next week.

If their chosen stars’ “stock” goes up, punters stand to win cash prizes.

FameIndex, which features 320 celebrities, is a UK-licensed pools company and was dreamt up by entrepreneur Hamish Macdonald.

Emma B, who today confessed she was not entirely sure how the game worked, is hoping it will help raise her profile.

“It is the number of times that you are in the press, the more lines in the papers (that count),” she said.

“I will have to do a bit of work on that in the media but I have got a lot of things in the pipeline.
