Loos misses out on Dutch job after trial

Rebecca Loos has not been signed up by a Dutch TV station following a two-week trial.

The woman who said she had an affair with David Beckham lost her job as a television presenter after failing to boost the ratings of a showbiz programme.

Dutch private broadcaster SBS 6 hired Beckham's former assistant Rebecca Loos as a presenter last month when she was at the centre of a tabloid frenzy, claiming she had a fling with the England captain.

The station's spokesman said they thought that "she just wasn't made to be a presenter - she didn't have the necessary skills".
