Gwyn's mum to use Apple technology

Gwyneth Paltrow’s actress mother Blythe Danner is getting a videophone so she can see London-based grand-daughter Apple every day from her home in Los Angeles.

She supported her daughter’s choice of name, saying son-in-law Chris Martin had friends who chose the same fruit for their child. “It is not completely unusual,” she insisted.

Danner was in Britain for the birth two weeks ago, but she’s back now finishing filming on Meet the Fockers, the Meet the Parents sequel with Ben Stiller, Barbra Streisand and Robert de Niro.
