Celine back on stage
Celine Dion, who was forced to take a two-week break from performing due to a neck injury, returned to the stage at Caesars Palace with tears in her eyes and appreciation for her fans.
The French Canadian singing superstar was under doctor’s orders to take a break from her Las Vegas concert extravaganza A New Day after suffering a sprained neck muscle earlier this month.
Dion, 36, told the audience: “I’ve missed being here. I’ve missed you.”
Dion, whose hits include My Heart Will Go On, is in the second year of a three-year engagement at the Las Vegas Strip hotel-casino.
