Hollywood women to invade Dublin

It's going to be crowded in Dublin during July, not only with the usual summer visitors but with a host of top Hollywood actresses.

They'll be in Ireland for the shooting of Irish director Jimmy Smallhorne's second feature, Pushers Needed, a comedy about a group of housewives who win a trip to Lourdes and change their lives.

The cast of the film, written by Smallhorne, includes Kathy Bates, Maggie Smith, Brenda Bleythn, Joan Allen and Claire Danes.

So far, the male cast hasn't been revealed until all the contracts have been signed.
