Minelli's ex stays in hiding

David Gest is taking his hideaway in Hawaii to extremes after allegedly being battered by wife Liza Minnelli.

He was so well hidden his divorce lawyer couldn’t even get hold of him.

Gest is supposedly licking his wounds while he prepares for a court battle over his split with Minnelli, but celebrity lawyer Raoul Felder finally quit over their “lapse in communication”.

Gest and Minnelli were married in a star-studded ceremony two years ago that featured Michael Jackson as best man and Elizabeth Taylor as maid of honour.

They split last summer.
