Madonna reinvents herself again for world tour

Pop star Madonna was on sparkling form last night for the launch of her world tour.

The singer showed herself to be in peak fitness at a packed concert in the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles.

The date was the first of 50 for the Re-Invention tour which will see the singer perform in the US, Canada and Europe.

Her entourage includes more than 100 people travelling on the road, 56 security guards working backstage and 12 dancers.

A truck houses her wardrobe and make-up and she has also made provision for a children’s playroom backstage. Other tour facts include:

- 110 People will travel on the road with the tour

- 58 Minutes for Madonna to get hair and makeup completed before show

- 56 security guards backstage

- 55 Tons of above ground equipment including sound, lights, videos and speakers

- 40 Tons is the weight of the stage

- 30 Trunks will carry wardrobe of entire touring company

- 25 Cases of Kaballah Water provided backstage nightly (backstage beverage of choice)
