Sopranos star takes up with Joey

The writing is on the wall for Adriana La Cerva, the sexy mafia moll who turned FBI snitch in The Sopranos.

Director David Chase is notoriously tight-lipped on which cast member is likely to get “whacked” next and sometimes the actors don’t even learn of their fate until the last minute.

But actress Drea de Matteo, she of the whine “Chris-tuh-fuhr,” is about to take up with a different sort of friend after the summer.

She play’s Matt LeBlanc’s sister in the Friends spin-off, Joey, which is already being shot in Los Angeles.

It is even being made on the old Friends sound stage and De Matteo has Jennifer Aniston’s dressing room.

She plays the older sister of dim-witted would-be actor Joey, who leaves New York to try his luck in Hollywood.
