Everett confirms no gay Bond

Shrek 2 star Rupert Everett has gone on record at the Cannes Film Festival to say there is no way he’s trying to land the part of a gay James Bond.

The openly gay actor was rumoured to be developing an alternative to the traditional womanising, martini-drinking 007 by camping the famous spy icon up for a new audience, according to handbag.com.
