Portman dumps boyfriend after Cannes 'snub'

Star Wars beauty Natalie Portman has dumped her good-looking boyfriend Y tu Mama Tambien star Gael Garcia Bernal.

The gorgeous 22-year-old actress had been dating the Mexican actor since they met at a post-Oscar party in 2003 but the relationship hit the rocks a few weeks ago, according to friends of the couple.

British tabloid The Sun reports that Portman pulled the plug on the struggling relationship when she discovered her beau had opted to take his parents to the Cannes Film Festival this week rather than her.

Portman’s previous boyfriends include Moby and Lukas Haas.
